Our Respiratory Department here at Lincoln Village Healthcare Center prides itself on being a leader when it comes to ventilation liberation and rehabilitation. We are the only skilled nursing facility in Central and Southern Illinois to provide around-the-clock ventilator care from respiratory therapists. Our therapists have over 80 years of combined experience in the field. Our low therapist-to-resident ratio allows us to provide optimal care for your loved one.

Resident safety is the cornerstone of the department. We nurture a culture of caring and compassion, that combined with our quality practices, ensures your loved one will be in the best hands and hearts. We offer services from full ventilator support to trach collar trials to decannulation. As a team, we strive daily for excellence maintaining our commitment that here, everyone is family.

Our Team is led by Sheena Moody. She has 12 years of Respiratory experience caring for multiple patient populations including preemie, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations. She has experience in multiple facility types including hospitals, level 1 trauma centers, home health facilities, and long-term care facilities. She also has 6 years of higher education experience teaching future Respiratory Therapists.
